Mango Coconut Strawberry Smoothie

This mango coconut strawberry smoothie is the perfect tropical combination!

It is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.  The strong mango flavor with the sweet strawberry and the subtle flavor of the coconut milk will make your taste buds dance. Your guest will be begging for refills. And sipping this drink on a hot summer day, there is no better way to beat the heat.

Simple ingredients are needed to make such a flavorful drink!

I am a mango lover! So, when it is mango season, I always grab several fresh mangoes at the market. But, if mangoes are not in season or not available, I reach out for the frozen ones or even the mango pulp in tins. If using mango pulp, you will need to half the quantity as the pulp form is more concentrated. No matter in what form you choose, mangoes  make any smoothie taste like heaven.

The  soft, sweet and bright red  strawberries will give the smoothie not only  a kick but  a zap of color too. Frozen or fresh, you can never go wrong with strawberries.

The coconut milk has a subtle taste and does not feel overpowering. In fact coconut milk makes any smoothie insanely delicious. You can use either full-fat or low-fat coconut milk, both will work.

Depending on the ripeness of your fruits, you might want to add a touch of sweetness. A drizzle of honey, a dash of maple syrup, sugar or a handful of Medjool dates can do the trick. It’s all about finding the balance that suits your taste buds.

As with most smoothies, it is best enjoyed right away. You can refrigerate it if you have leftovers.
