Potato Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1/4 cup oil / melted butter
  • 2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1-2 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust according to spice tolerance)
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1- 2 teaspoon salt (adjust according to taste)
  • 2 teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Start by peeling the potatoes and give them a wash.
  • Cut them into bite-sized pieces (roughly 1-inch cubes). Try to keep the pieces uniform in size for even cooking.
  • Mix oil, dried parsley, red chili flakes, paprika, garlic powder, salt and chaat masala. Toss in the potatoes and mix well.
  • Take a large baking tray, cover with alumininum foil (for easy clean-up). Lightly brush with oil (prevents potatoes from sticking).
  • Spread the seasoned potato pieces in a single layer on the baking tray.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  • Flip the potatoes and bake for further 12-15 minutes more.
  • Remove the potato bites from the oven, add cheese on top (the cheese will melt from the heat of the potatoes).
  • Serve with your favorite sauce/dip and enjoy

Notes

You can leave the potato skin on. Just make sure to wash the potatoes really well to remove any dirt.
