Potato Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1/4 cup oil / melted butter
  • 2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1-2 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust according to spice tolerance)
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1- 2 teaspoon salt (adjust according to taste)
  • 2 teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Prepare the Potatoes: Start by peeling the potatoes and give them a wash.
  • Cut them into bite-sized pieces (roughly 1-inch cubes). Try to keep the pieces uniform in size for even cooking.
  • Mix oil, dried parsley, red chili flakes, paprika, garlic powder, salt and chaat masala.
  • :In a large baking dish, toss in the potatoes with the above prepared spiced oil. Make sure each piece is well coated with the spiced oil.
  • Spread the seasoned potato pieces in a single layer and add 1/4 cup water to the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Flip the potatoes halfway through.
  • Bake until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Remove the potato bites from the oven, add cheese on top (the cheese will melt from the heat of the potatoes).
  • Serve with your favorite sauce/dip and enjoy

Notes

You can leave the potato skin on. Just make sure to wash the potatoes really well to remove any dirt.
